Axel Vock aka DJ OSRAM-V...
Born in 1971 in Germany near Frankfurt... Influenced in the early childhood by the 70ties Disco music of his father. Bands and artists with much influence: Barry White, Gloria Gayner, Boney M, Neil Dimond, Hot choclate, Bee gees and many single one hit wonders from this time. 1980 his father bought the first mixer and two record-players and installed everything in the new family party-basement, which is till now Axels Studio. 1990 After the first clubbing expierience he started to buy Vinyl and CD´s of different styles. House , Acid and Techno came up at this time. First gigs at the legendary PAGAN parties and other events followed. 1993 He started to buy more Vinyl and was more focused on the DJ´ing as ever before. Influenced by the big German rave and Technoscene in Frankfurt and all over Germany he started his own research in the sounds of Techno, Trance and House. Clubs like the Omen, Dorian Gray and Pallazzo were places where he spend a lot of free time to be up to date in the scene. 1995 he searched for a new challenge in his real job as an electrician and especially in an other part of this World. So he came to Asia the first time and worked in Singapore. Of course he didn´t came without his music and started also a residency at the Club Music World for six month once a week. Also he was able to play once at the SESSIONS night at the legendary Velvet underground (Part of the Zouk Club). After making so much friends trough his music it was for sure that he´ll come back soon. 1996 back in Germany he played at different parties, had a residency in “the basement” in Worms for 6 month. From now on his musicactivities were placed between Asia and Germany, in Bars and Clubs and continues till today.
